Future 6th Grade Transition to Lincoln Middle School Beginning in 2027–28

📢 Important District Update: Future 6th Grade Transition to Lincoln Middle School

The Clarkston School District is excited to share that beginning with the 2027–28 school year, all 6th grade students will attend Lincoln Middle School as part of a true 6th–8th grade middle school model.

This change will not affect students during the upcoming 2026–27 school year. The additional year will allow us to thoughtfully plan, prepare, and support students and families throughout the transition process.

Moving 6th grade to Lincoln Middle School will provide students with access to specialized supports, expanded academic opportunities, extracurricular activities, athletics, leadership experiences, and a learning environment specifically designed to meet the needs of early adolescents.

We understand families may have questions. Please review the attached Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document for additional information. We will continue to share updates and opportunities for engagement as planning progresses.

That’s a wrap on the 2nd Annual LC Valley VEX Robotics League! It’s been an incredible season of engineering and grit from our Clarkston, Asotin, and Lewiston robotics teams.

A massive thank you to our volunteers: Judges, Scorers, Tech Teams, Field Setters, Coaches, and Referee—you make this league possible!

Huge congrats to the Clarkston Bantams for bringing home two major trophies:

🏆 60522W | Innovate Award: For brilliant ingenuity and a "think outside the box" robot design. Their unique tank drive wowed the judges!

🏆 60522X | Judges Award: For exemplary effort, perseverance and standout team spirit.

Congratulations to every student and coach on an amazing year. We’re already looking forward to the next one! #LCValleyRobotics #VEXRobotics #STEM #ClarkstonBantams #RoboticsLeague 🤖⚙️ 🛠️
