February is Black History Month! Clarkston School District is proud to recognize and celebrate the rich history, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans. This month is an opportunity to honor the past, learn from the present, and inspire the future. Throughout February, we encourage our students, staff, and community to engage in meaningful conversations, explore stories of resilience and excellence, and reflect on the impact of Black leaders, artists, scientists, educators, and change makers. Let’s celebrate diversity, embrace inclusion, and continue learning.

Last night marked a historical event for the LC Valley, as teams from Clarkston and Asotin High Schools faced off in the first LC Valley VEX Robotics League Night! Students showcased their ingenuity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills as they battled in this year’s exciting robotics challenge.
This experience goes far beyond the competition—students are gaining hands-on lessons in engineering, programming, strategic thinking, and collaboration, all while building confidence and perseverance. These are skills that will serve them well into the future.
A huge shoutout to our talented students, dedicated mentors, and supportive community for making this night unforgettable! Here's to the start of something amazing in the LC Valley. 🛠️🎉
