The Clarkston School District is in the process of adopting a new Reading and Writing curriculum for grades K-6. Samples of the curriculum that are being proposed for adoption by the curriculum committee will be available for parent preview on May 21st at 6:00 pm at the Highland Elementary School Conference Room, located in the main office building. Capital Projects Levy - The new Capital Projects Levy that will be on the April 23, 2024 ballot, authorizes a three-year levy for infrastructure, safety, and health improvements. The estimated tax rate per $1,000 of assessed property value is $1.00. The purpose of the Capital Projects Levy is to finance capital improvements to support learning environments such as upgrading heating and cooling systems, repairing roofs, improving flooring, and asphalt and concrete.
