Clarkston High School 12th grade students will receive comprehensive sexual health instruction as part of Washington State requirements. This instruction will be provided by Quality Behavioral Health and will focus on topics including sexual assault prevention, healthy relationships, consent, and decision-making. The curriculum will be taught during Civics class on February 24–26 (2nd trimester) and April 28–30 (3rd trimester) and is aligned with state standards for comprehensive sexual education.
Families have received a detailed letter outlining the curriculum, dates, and topics. A waiver is included for parents/guardians who choose to opt their student out of participating in one or more sessions.
