CLARKSTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO HOST GOLDEN THRONE FUNDRAISER

CLARKSTON, WA – The Associated Student Body (ASB) of Clarkston High School (CHS) are excited to announce information about their annual community drive-by fundraiser. CHS ASB will be standing outside promoting their annual Golden Throne event, and will be asking for donations from community members driving by.

Tuesday, December 16th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, ASB officers will be stationed on 6th Street in Clarkston between Adams St and Park St, in front of the CHS Tennis Courts. On Wednesday, December 17th, another group of ASB officers will be stationed at the intersection of Bridge Street and 5th Street in Clarkston, by Clarkston Walgreens, Jiffy Lube, and Taco Bell.

These students are extremely excited to put this event on once again. Last year, the Clarkston ASB members were able to raise over $2,400 for their Golden Throne Charities with this event. Every cent donated from this event goes to the Golden Throne Charities selected by Clarkston High School ASB and Lewiston High School ASB. This year, funds from the Golden Throne will be donated to Northwest Children’s Home, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Open Doorway, and The Verdugo Family.

Each year, the two schools team up to raise over $25,000 for local charities. This annual impact is a point of pride for both schools’ ASB officers. CHS and LHS feel deeply grateful to be able to put on such a large and impactful event every single year.

Clarkston ASB and Lewiston ASB would like to thank our community members, local businesses, P1FCU and Inland Cellular in advance, and want the valley to know how much our schools appreciate all of the contributions we receive. Without our generous community and businesses, our schools wouldn’t be able to accomplish all that we do.

Any questions, comments, or requests for additional information can be sent to Nathan Whittle, Clarkston High School’s ASB Advisor, at WhittleN@csdk12.org
