Clarkston DECA

On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 4th grade students from the Clarkston School District will have the opportunity to be part of the 20th Annual Career Development Conference. This event, hosted by Clarkston DECA, will take place virtually via Zoom. The conference is designed to teach 4th grade students about careers, entrepreneurship, running a business, and the importance of the free enterprise system.

In order to get ready for this event, Clarkston DECA members worked remotely with the 4th grade students and shared a video to help them design a business to hypothetically open. Students worked with partners or individually with the assistance of teachers, parents, and DECA chapter members. Jenna Allen, Jolee Nicholas, and Molly Williams are the coordinators of this event.

Clarkston DECA looks forward to Zooming with the 4th graders at 11:00 am on November 4, 2020. "BUILD YOUR FUTURE", 4th graders!

CLARKSTON ONLINE

Families, for those of you who are planning for your student to attend Clarkston Online, you will need to fill out the form below and return it to your child's school as soon as possible. Copies are available at each building if you do not have access to a printer.

As a reminder, the Clarkston Online option means that your child will be working 100% online from home. Students will be working on a curriculum provided by the Clarkston School District. This curriculum will teach and assess students while working from home.
